Before I created the DESIGNING YOUR STRENGTHS model, I was on my own journey of transformation, moving through the stages of self-discovery, growth and development.
I knew that if others could experience the same success I had - with a model that was tailored to their specific strengths - they could experience a similar transformation that is SUSTAINABLE.
So after spending years on my own process of transformation not only physically but emotionally, spiritually and mindfully I found the secret to sustained change!
Developing your strengths uses the power of positive psychology to help you sustain change in ways you may not have thought possible. Through a series of step-by-step exercises, you will build on what you already do well, challenge yourself to go beyond your comfort zone and move toward realizing your full potential.
It starts with gathering data about your current strengths and identifying areas of improvement, then creating actionable steps towards honing those skills. The result? Increased confidence and self-esteem, improved performance and the ability to reach the peak of your potential.
This process is all about the personal, independent way of learning what our strengths are. I learned that various strengths assessments were highly valuable especially when considering the science behind them (CliftonStrengths for example) the most scientifically studied strengths model. But the picture is incomplete without your own introspection and feedback from those that know and love us most. Personal stories and connections to the science come to life with the self discovery process and the key is pulling awareness from multiple data points to create as full a picture as possible.
When you design your strengths, you will no longer feel held back. You can move forward with confidence and become the version of yourself that you want to be. The organic process is so important to the bigger picture. We all like leaning on assessments, but nothing beats the gains that come from self and community discovery.
